IGL Ecocoat Poly is compliant ceramic coating that combines proprietary material and nanotechnology. IGL Ecocoat Poly results in an increase in the paint’s reflectivity and in its resistance against harsh chemicals. IGL Ecocoat Poly also protects against micro marring and dullness. This kit also includes Ecocoat Precoat and Ecocoat Premier so that you cover all steps of the process.
Making a car look good can take a lot of work and can require many unique products. With this IGL Ecocoat Poly kit, you get everything you need to clean, prep and coat the surface. Plus, with all its beneficial formulas, you can have a beautifully finished coat.
IGL Ecocoat Poly is a ceramic coating that is synthetized with IGL proprietary modified active material and nanotechnology to be free of any harmful chemicals. To be even more specific, IGL Ecocoat Poly contains 70% active material content and 30% solvent creating a thick firm build. Once the product cures, crosslinked patterns create a hardness of up to 8H on the pencil scale.
The surface itself will be something behold after the use of IGL Ecocoat Poly. The surface of your car will stay cleaner longer thanks to it’s anti-fouling effect. The surface created is smooth and reduces micro marring. Plus, it has hydrophobic capabilities that allow for 105° contact angles to promote water beading and prevent water spotting.
IGL Ecocoat Poly is in a kit that also contains Ecocoat Precoat, Ecocoat Premier, application cloths, an application block and a pair of gloves. This will allow you to clean and prep the surface before the Poly application. The block, cloths and gloves will also help for the application of the Poly. If done properly, IGL Ecocoat Poly can last up to one year against harsh chemicals, micro marring and dullness.

Step 1:
-Cleaning the surface
-Keep the mixture unstirred.
-Ensure that the surface is clean BEFORE application. Because in order to permit sufficient chemical bonding of Ecocoat Poly to the substrate, the surface must be carefully cleaned of all contaminants before the application.
-Coat the cleaned surface immediately after cleaning to prevent any contamination.
Step 2: Treatment process
-Place a few drops of Ecocoat Poly on the provided application cloth in a vertical direction.
-Apply the product lightly on the surface in a 3’ x 3’ area, in a vertical (up and down) then horizontal (left to right) motion.
-Always ensure the areas coated are overlapping.
-Wait for about 2-5 minutes (or when there is a small resistance in buffing) then buff off with a clean dry microfiber towel.
-Allow coating to cure for 1-2 hours and then apply a second layer.
