GTechniq G5 Water Repellent Coating is a high-tech coating designed to protect glass and acrylic surfaces. GTechniq G5 Water Repellent Coating is designed to offer the very best dirt and water repellency on treated surfaces leaving them cleaner for longer. G5 Water Repellent Coating works on a molecular level to seal the surface, creating an immense amount of surface tension so water beads up and rolls off.
GTechniq G5 Water Repellent Coating is the perfect balance of longevity and ease of use. While the coating isn’t as durable as GTechniq G1 Clear Vision Smart Glass, it takes less time to apply and still provides an excellent hydrophobic effect. GTechniq G5 is perfect for professional detailers who have customers that want a glass coating but aren’t interested in paying a premium for an ultra durable coating like G1 Clear Vision Smart Glass. The thick, creamy formula applies thin and wipes off without any effort.
GTechniq G5 Water Repellent Coating can also be applied to acrylic surfaces, such as motorcycle windscreens or Perspex, a transparent acrylic plastic. The effect is the same on these surfaces as it is on glass; water beads up and rolls off! What’s more, if you live in an area with harsh winters, G5 Water Repellent Coating will make windshields easier to clean as ice and snow won’t stick!
Directions:
- Thoroughly clean and dry surfaces.
- If being used on glass, first use G4 Glass Nano Polish to remove contaminants.
- Shake bottle well, then work in a small circular motion using overlapping passes. A microfiber applicator works best.
- Immediately remove residue using a flat-weave microfiber towel.
